Business Development Manager – Regional Key Accounts – Wire & Cable –

Our client is seeking a creative and proactive Business Development Manager who will increase front end design for wire assemblies and connector products. The key account are focused on next Gen EV’s This position is responsible for driving new product development while increasing revenue, market share and profitability within an assigned core account(s)/region.

The qualified person will work with minimal supervision and is expected to be able to understand and follow process documentation.

Essential functions:
• Manages all strategic activities within assigned core account(s). Works with other areas of the organization to provide technical, operational, and service support as needed. Keeps the organization informed of trends, opportunities, and needs at the account(s).
• Develops and/or implements strategic business plans to achieve key revenue, share, and profit goals for assigned core account(s).
• Services the account by assuring our competitiveness in our operational performance, building strong relationships, and promoting products and technologies.
• Prepares reports and tracking documents relative to meeting performance goals, forecasting business levels, identifying new opportunities, and implementing programs.
• Serves as core account(s) expert in areas of technology, product needs, market segments, and business processes. Holds product seminars, provides training and/or technical support, and coordinates control and communication documentation.

Requirements: Degree + 5-7 years cable, connector or related components with accounts in the EV space
