Electrical Engineer – Digital Design – El Cajon, CA
We seek a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer focusing on Digital Design to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital circuit design, system-level architecture, embedded systems, and hands-on experience using design and simulation tools. This role will involve designing, testing, and troubleshooting digital circuits, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop digital systems, including FPGA, ASIC, and microcontroller-based designs.
• Create and simulate digital circuits and systems using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog tools.
• Develop detailed schematics and perform PCB layout design for digital components.
• Perform timing analysis, power analysis, and signal integrity checks for digital designs.
• Conduct functional and performance testing of digital circuits and systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Optimize digital designs for performance, cost, and power efficiency.
• Provide technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in digital design tools such as Xilinx ISE, Vivado, Altera Quartus, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of digital logic, signal processing, and communication protocols.
• Experience with hardware description languages (HDL) such as VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller programming.
Knowledge of software tools for signal processing and digital analysis.
