Senior SI Engineer_
Nashua NH – relocation assist ok

A leader in the High-Tech Industry has a need for an Sr. Electrical Engineer focused on Signal Integrity, Design, Assembly, and Test of High-Speed systems to supported IT Datacom/Mobile markets and new expansion into EV, Rail, Heavy Equipment and Energy.

We are currently seeking a senior SI Engineer for a world class facility in Nashua NH, where we have state of the art SI equipment and tools.

The role will require interface with our customers engineers, internal engineering, marketing and sales teams to provide technical SI leadership within our group.

• Strong understanding of electromagnetic theories such as S-parameters and transmission line.
• Skilled in the use of simulation tools and diagnosis analysis of the results/data outputs.
• Knowledge in power integrity rules.
• Working understanding of applicable standards and data rates (PCIe, SAS, USB, Fibre Channel, Ethernet, InfiniBand).
• Technical understanding of high-speed connectors used in server/storage applications.
• In-depth knowledge of high-speed PCB materials.
• Skilled in the use of TDR/VNA high-speed testing and correlating results/data vs customer requirement.
• Lead technical SI aspects of the sales campaign for Backplane/PCBA/Cable opportunities.
• Prepare materials and participate in customer presentations for design, test, and assembly solutions for Backplane/PCBA/Cable opportunities.
• Develop personal relationships and rapport with key design influences at selected key accounts.
• Focus on engineering strategy to support current customer requirements and embrace emerging technology, market demands and potential new customer opportunities.
• Promote company products and assists customers in selecting the correct parts to fit the application and/or design the product solutions that fit the customer’s need.
• Well-developed interpersonal/communication skills.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally when required.
• Ability to collect, process various information on technology trend and application information and collaborate with factory RD team to optimize the product;


Minimum of a BS degree in Electrical Engineering. Masters a plus.
5 years + experience in design of high-speed electro/mechanical connector and or cable/PCBA assembly.


Experience across the following is desirable:
• SI Tools – Ansys tools, Matlab, PLTS
• Layout tools – allegro or mentor graphics
• Lab test equipment - VNA, TDR
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Strive to exceed customer needs and ability to build relationships
