Job Title: Supply Chain Director – Electrical Components

Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Director to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations for our electrical connectors product line. This role will be responsible for procurement, logistics, production planning, inventory management, and supplier relationship development. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in the electronics or electrical components industry, with a focus on driving cost efficiency, supply continuity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the supply chain strategy aligned with business goals and customer requirements.

Oversee global sourcing, supplier negotiations, and procurement of connector components and raw materials.

Manage demand planning and inventory optimization to ensure supply availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.

Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to align supply chain processes with product development and production timelines.

Evaluate and implement supply chain systems and ERP tools to improve transparency and decision-making.

Drive cost reduction initiatives, risk mitigation strategies, and sustainability goals across the supply network.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and logistics providers.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH, ITAR as applicable).

Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

10+ years of supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the electrical/electronic components industry.

Strong understanding of connector manufacturing processes, industry suppliers, and quality requirements.

Proven track record in strategic sourcing, logistics, production planning, and supplier development.

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply chain analytics tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience:
Experience working with military or aerospace-grade connectors.

Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.

Background in multi-site operations and international supply chain management.
