Field Application Engineer - Central - Remote
A global manufacturer of connectors and cable assemblies is seeking a FAE for the Central Region
Support the sales team targeting industrial, aerospace, medical, and harsh environment accounts
Provide technical product support and develop new products in the Central territory.
Support sales and identify & qualify prospective customer programs, with a focus on OEM customers, and through the manufacturers' representatives, presenting the portfolio of products.
Interpret customer inquiries and information provided by the customer specification, and ensure that the relevant documentation is available. Ensure compliance with the US ITAR regulations and propose conceptual solutions to customers, communicate the requirements to the product support team. Support the “design-in” process with the customer to successful qualification. Report on competitor activity and the need for new product development. Provide reports and project plans to the manager.
US Citizenship required
BS Mechanical Engineering or technical degree preferred. 5+ years related interconnect experience
