Quality Engineer – RF Microwave components – Phoenix, Arizona
This position supports the production and quality teams in ensuring products are made to customer specifications and that our teams adhere to standard company practices during production. Interface directly with customer quality teams on a regular basis.
• Interpret customer and engineering specifications to provide guidance to production teams
• Conduct and document First Article reviews, including communications with customers
• Work with customer source inspectors to present proper documentation and product
• Alert and explain non-conformances to production teams
• Conduct containment activities for non-conforming products
• Assist quality engineering in determining root causes for non-conforming products
• Work with production, engineering, and quality teams to implement process improvements
• Conduct process/product audits to support the proper execution of customer requirements
• Assist the document control department in maintaining document revision levels
Requirements
• BS Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of three years of experience in the production of electromechanical products
• Root Cause Analysis experience
• Proficient in working with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Quality Management System experience working within a system based on the ISO 9001 standard. Experience with the AS9100 standards
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and requirements
• Ability to use light industrial testing equipment
